On October 7th, we had already played against this team and won 66-42. We tried a new offense this week at practice, Jäger (not the shot), and wanted to try it at this game as well.
We started the game really unfocused, but kept coming back and at half-time the score was 31-30. We kept putting the pressure during full-court defense and got some steals this way. Read more.

Last Saturday Ladies 1 travelled all the way to Vroomshoop to play a game against Stars’84. Since Rene had to play a game, he was not able to be coach us, so Judith was there to fill up his place. We did not start off in a good way, we had a lot of chances but we also missed a lot(not only lay-ups). Read more.

A tough match was ahead for the gents of Arriba when they were facing the top 3 team of B.V. Groningen. When I arrived in the hall the clock was at 15 minutes and there was no sign of the opponent, the advantage of the Enschede inaccessibility were already showing. But, after an extension of the clock, there they were: five players of B.V. Read more.

We have teams in various different competitions. The first team became champions this season and are promoting to the 2nd division which is a national competition! The always successful introduction party was last Wednesday. The evening started with a presentation about Arriba and the new committees. After this short presentation we enjoyed a 5 round pubquiz which was won by Team Turbo One! After the official party some went on towards ‘t Gat to enjoy some more drinks. Read more.
Within two weeks, the Kick-In at the University will start! Arriba will be present on several occasions to promote our beautiful club and hopefully recruit a lot of new members.

August 26th: Sportsday UT at Campus Courts (behind the sports center), 11:30 – 17:30
August 29th: Master Kick-In at the Campus Courts (behind the sports center), 10:00 – 12:15
September 1st: Kick-Out Festival at Carillonveld, 13:30 – 17:30

The last event of the Tournamentcommittee is approaching. This time, it will be the Pleintjesbasketball (streetball) tournament at the outside courts near the beachcourts on sunday the 12th of June. The matches will be 3 vs 3 on a half court.
We are playing in three groups; a ladies group, a gents lower than second class players group (H3 and Recreationals) and a gents higher or equal to second class players group (H2 and higher). Read more.
