Dear Arribans,
Last weekend there was plenty of action again. The Ladies started off playing against Amical VSE 1 and won comfortably. Gents 1 played Saturday at home against Twente Buzzards MSE 1 and also won by 18 points. The last team to play was Gents 2 who also played at home Saturday and won by 10 points against a low ranked Jugglers MSE 2 team. Read more.

Last weekend the first games of the new year started! The weekend started off with Gents 2 playing for the top spot in the league against Hanze Stars MSE 1. Unfortunately they lost their first game of the season by quite a big margin. The Ladies then played against Pluto VSE 1 who were ranked 3rd in the league. Read more.

Are you interested in playing recreational or competition at Arriba? Come join the introduction practice(s)! Arriba has 4 competition teams, 3 male and 1 female team, playing at different levels and a recreational team that practices twice a week. Not only do we play basketball, but there are a lot of fun events, such as an introduction party, Sintarribaklaas and the New Years Tournament, organised throughout the year by different committees. Last Sunday we had the annual New Years Tournament which was awesome! The board worked until deep in the night for the oliebollen and a lot of Arribans played a great tournament the following day and stayed until deep in the night at the BBQ at Arno’s place following the tournament. Thank you all, it was a great day!
