Breedtetournament

It is sad to say, but unfortunately the Breedtetournament of the 8th, 9th and 10th of June has been cancelled, due to a shortage of teams that applied for the tournament. Hopefully next year the tournament will be organized again, but with a better organization and more teams

Batavierenrace

Arriba did a really good job during the Batavierenrace. We are placed 53th out of 349 teams! This is the best result in at least 10 years. All the runners were motivated to set the best time they could. And we were on time at each relay point with the van. The speed and times of the stages can be found at the heading "Batavierenrace".

External tournaments

Besides the Breedtetoernooi a couple of other basketball tournaments will be organized in the next months. An overview can be found here. It would be nice to visit one or more of these tournaments with Arriba. If you know an interesting tournament that is not on that list, please let the secretary of Arriba know.

Bestuur Sportraad

De Sportraad is hard opzoek naar één of twee nieuwe bestuurders. Mocht je hierin geïnterreseerd zijn, kijk dan op: http://www.sportraadut.nl/. Dit is een full-time bestuur. Als je hierdoor in de problemen komt met de langstudeerboete, dan willen ze zelfs kijken of ze hiervoor een oplossing kunnen vinden.

Referee course

Today there was the exam of the referee course. The participants were: Arnd, Glenn, Hans, Lammert, Niels, Redmar, Renske and Sophie. Everybody has passed the test, so Arriba has 8 new F-referees! Congratulations with the results.

Walk-in hours Physiotherapy Rene Polman

De fysiotherapie Rene Polman heeft op maandag en donderdag van 17.45-19.30u een inloopspreekuur in de Flexwerkruimte in het Sportcentrum. De Flexruimte bevindt zich in de gang naar de tribune van sporthal 2 aan de rechterkant (achter de portier). Mocht je een blessure hebben en graag gratis en vrijblijvend onderzoek en advies willen hebben, dan kan je even bij hem langsgaan. Eventuele tapekosten moeten wel zelf betaald worden.

The physiotherapy Rene Polman has walk-in hours on Mondays and Thursdays from 17.45-19.30h in the "Flexwerkruimte" in the Sportcentre. The "Flexruimte" is located on the right-hand site of the corridor to sporthal 2 (behind the porter). If you're injured and want to have a free examination and advice, you can visit him there. The costs of the tape if need will be charged in that case.
