Van harte welkom op de website van D.B.V. Arriba. Op deze website vind je meer informatie over de vereniging, hoe je lid kunt worden, welke activiteiten er zijn en nog veel meer.

D.B.V. Arriba is dè basketbalvereniging van de Universiteit Twente! Arriba is opgericht op 3 oktober 1964 en biedt sindsdien studenten de mogelijkheid om te gaan basketballen in competitievorm of in recreantenvorm. Door de voortreffelijke voorzieningen die de Universiteit Twente te bieden heeft, evenals de gezellige sfeer binnen de vereniging is Arriba dè vereniging om bij te komen basketballen!

Basketbal spelen kan bij Arriba op verschillende manieren en op verschillende niveaus. Momenteel zijn er vier heren competitie teams, waarvan het Heren 1 team in de Rayon hoofdklasse speelt. Daarnaast is er een dames 1 team, dat 1e  klasse Rayon speelt. Recreanten trainen mee met de competitie teams

Er wordt deelgenomen aan de competitie van Rayon Oost/Rayon Noord-Oost. Afhankelijk van het niveau worden de wedstrijden gehouden in de regio Twente of verder weg. De trainingsdagen van Arriba zijn: maandag t/m donderdag avond. Kijk voor meer informatie over D.B.V. Arriba eens rustig rond op de site.
 

Lid worden

Bij Arriba kun je competitiespelend lid worden en je kunt ook basketballen in recreantenvorm. Een recreatief lid traint alleen doordeweeks terwijl een competitiespelend lid daarnaast in de weekenden competitiewedstrijden speelt.

Iedereen die geïnteresseerd is om te gaan basketballen kan bij Arriba vrijblijvend een paar keer meetrainen om kennis te maken. Als je interesse hebt om een keer mee te trainen kan je het beste een e-mail sturen naar de secretaris () en dan geeft hij aan wanneer je langs kunt komen. Op dinsdag 15 mei 2012 zal er een open damestraining georganiseerd worden. Meer informatie is hier te vinden.

Als je vervolgens besluit lid te worden van Arriba dan kun je het inschrijfformulier van deze website downloaden onder het kopje Downloads. Het ingevulde inschrijfformulier kun je in de Arriba brievenbus in het sportcentrum deponeren of aan de teamcaptain of iemand van het bestuur geven.

Als lid van Arriba dien je een Xtra-card in je bezit te hebben. Deze kost €75,- (na 1 februari €45,-) en is gedurende het collegejaar geldig voor alle sportverenigingen op de universiteit. Deze Xtra-card kun je aanschaffen via www.xtra-card.nl.

Naast de Xtra-card heeft Arriba een eigen contributie voor de leden. De prijzen voor de verschillende categorien zijn staan hieronder. Wanneer je voor een half jaar lid bent van Arriba krijg je een korting van €22,50 op de contributie.

Competitiespelend lid (Heren 2 t/m 4): €120,-

Recreatief lid: €45,-

Welcome to Arriba!

Welcome to the website of D.B.V. Arriba. This website contains information about the club, how you can join, what activities there are and much more.

D.B.V. Arriba is the official basketball club of the University of Twente! Arriba was founded in 1964 and since then it has provided students the opportunity to  play basketball in formal competitions or in recreational form. Because of the excellent facilities that the UT has to offer and the friendly atmosphere within the club is Arriba the association to play basketball at!

You can play basketball at Arriba in different ways and at different levels. Currently there are four men's league teams, the Men's District 1 team play in the Rayon first division. There is also a women's team that plays Rayon first class. Recreation players join the practices of the competition playiong teams

Arriba participates in the competition of District East/ North East District. Depending on the level of the competitions the matches are held in the Twente region or further away. The training days of Arriba are: Monday till Thursday evening. For more information about D.B.V. Arriba look around on the site.
 

Become a member

At Arriba you play in a competition and you can also join for recreational basketball playing. A recreational member trains on weekdays only while a league member in addition plays in the weekends league matches.

Anyone interested to play basketball at Arriba can get free training sessions for a couple of times to get acquainted. If you are interested to join practices, the best way is to send an e-mail to the Secretary () and then he will indicate when you can come along. On Tuesday May 15th an open Ladies practice will be organized. More information can be found here. The practices are in English.

If you then decide to join Arriba you can download the application form from this website at the header "Downloads". The completed application form can be put in the mailbox of Arriba in the Sports Centre or can be given to a teamcaptain or to somebody of the board.

As a member of Arriba, you need to have an Xtra-card. It costs €75,- (after the 1st of February €45,-) and is valid throughout the academic year for all sports clubs of the UT. This Xtra-card can be purchased through www.xtra-card.nl/_en.

Besides the Xtra-card Arriba has its own fee for members. Prices for the various categories can be found below. Members for half a year get a discount of €22,50.
